“ When God Gives a Family ” is an article designed to encourage you in the Lord and find refuge in His loving arms.
God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. Psalms 68 :6
We don’t always understand how God works. Sometimes we try to understand why some people who faithfully serve Him live in dry places while others who have no respect for His name live in watered places.
In Psalms 92 verse 7, the psalmist tells us that “When the wicked spring up like grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed forever.” But there are realities in life that indicate that there are people who make their fortune very badly without ever spending a night at the hospital and without ever getting into too much trouble for the rest of their lives.
In fact, God never promised us a carefree life. If He has made you live in places that are not barren, give glory to His name. If you are in a desolate place, He is able to lead you to green pastures. He always comes to the rescue of those who are alone and the abandoned.
The key to your well-being in this world is in God’s hands. All you have to do is grasp it by faith and enter into the wonderful destiny He has prepared for you even before the foundation of the world.
You must stop comparing your life to others. Often we see the success of others, but we don’t bother to know how they started. Each life is unique in the universe. Your life story is not an accident, but a journey in which God’s providence and favor have never failed you.
Many people in the world have no family. They have been abandoned by either their father or their biological mother. Life has removed from them the joy of living in a family environment capable of fostering their growth and development. But there are many who testify that they have found a family, the church and especially the heavenly Father.
God, in His holy dwelling place, remains the father of the fatherless and the defender of widows (Psalm 68.5). Do you not have a family? In God, your loving and helpful Father, you can walk triumphantly. He wants you to rejoice in Him no matter what your circumstances are. He will always be by your side to support you and fill you with the love that nothing and no one else in this world could offer you.
Biblical principle : With God, the abandoned can have a family. |
